Earlier this semester, the team took the CT-13 to Lime Rock to test some main events such as skid pads, autocross, and endurance.
Our team will be unveiling our new Formula SAE car on March 10th 2022, from 7:30-8:30 at McHugh Rm 102.
Frame Update The team has been making excellent progress on the frame for the 2022 competition car. We remain on track to complete the frame by competition day! New Hindle We recently got in a new hindle from Mastercam. The hindle is featured in the car's suspension, and is what the tires will spin on. The hindle design has changed over the years, with the orange hindle being the old one, and the silver hindle being the new one. The new silver design is far more sleek than the older orange design, and should improve the production of the 2022 competition car.
At the Formula SAE competition in Michigan, the team and car performed exceptionally well, breaking our team records by placing 5th overall out of 57 competing universities and 2nd place in endurance! We want to say a huge thank you to all of our amazing sponsors who helped make this possible. Check out our sponsors page to see them all!
The CT-12 is finally here! After a tough year with COVID shutdowns and restrictions, our team is excited to share its latest and greatest creation. Its first public appearance will be made during the Ignition Speed Festival at Foxwoods. We cannot wait to show off all of our hard work!
