Our Mission

UConn Formula SAE is dedicated to making leaders who gain an innovative experience beyond what is available in classes and internships. While creating the most enjoyable, inclusive, and safest environment possible, we strive to make each member a better student, engineer, teammate, friend, and leader.

Who are we?

UConn Formula SAE is a student-run organization that designs, builds, and competes a Formula-style race car every year. Our team competes with top universities around the world and works with some of the best companies in the nation.
​Throughout our history we have built 14 different cars, with our current model being the CT-14.
We combine students' passions for motorsport and engineering, while effectively working in a team environment.
