Who We Are

One Team. One Dream

UConn Formula SAE is dedicated to making leaders who gain an innovative experience beyond what is available in classes and internships. While creating the most enjoyable, inclusive, and safest environment possible, we strive to make each member a better student, engineer, teammate, friend, and leader.

  • Real engineering, end to end

From a blank CAD file to a car on the grid. Design, manufacture, test, and race.

  • Two cars, every year

We develop both an internal-combustion and an electric vehicle for SAE competition.

  • Open to every major

Engineers, business, finance, marketing and more! There's a seat for you on the team.
